This modern reinterpretation of the 62GS, Grand Seiko’s first automatic mechanical model, depicts a beautiful moment in the ever-changing seasons in Japan. In a first for a non-limited edition with the 62GS case design, it is crafted in 18K rose gold. The warm pink dial shines with a brilliance that enhances the watch’s beauty. It represents a scene in which snow has covered the cherry blossoms, known as sakura-kakushi. With the warmth of the rose gold case and the shimmering of the dial, it is easy to imagine the snow-covered cherry blossoms glistening in the bright morning sun of early spring. The brown leather strap, which is symbolic of the tree’s trunk, adds to the atmosphere of beautiful calm. The movement is the Hi-Beat Caliber 9S85, which grants more stable precision by reducing variations in accuracy.
