Item #: 19437292
From the exclusive REEDS Signature Diamond Collection, this stunning engagement ring features a 3/4ct REEDS Signature round diamond set in a 14k white gold four prong solitaire setting. This REEDS Signature round diamond features a unique faceting pattern charted on an individualized grading report with a corresponding laser inscription on the diamond itself. Engraved under the head of the ring is the script "REEDS Signature" accented with a Peek-a-boo diamond. The diamond is 3/4ct, J in color, I1 or better in clarity and is presented with a GIA Diamond Grading Report**. Ring is 5mm across the top and 2mm at the bottom.

This REEDS Signature diamond*:

  • Comes with a certificate of origin identifying and guaranteeing your diamond's country and mine of origin.
  • Above 1/5ct is graded by GIA, the world’s foremost authority in Gemology.
  • Is laser inscribed with REEDS, a Maple Leaf and a unique identification number to proudly identify its Canadian heritage.
  • Is mined with the strictest environmental mining and manufacturing standards.
  • Is crafted with exclusive cutting methods creating unique and additional faceting for maximum beauty.

*Diamonds less than 1/5ct are not considered to be REEDS Signature diamonds.

**Graded diamonds are often mistakenly referred to as "certified diamonds" or as including a "diamond certificate." The term "certification" has been widely and wrongfully applied to diamonds, and therefore can lead to some confusion when referring to a diamond's evaluation. What is incorrectly called a "certification" is, in fact, an individual grading report performed by a laboratory which assesses the diamond's characteristics. To better serve our REEDS customers as they make important purchases, a grading report is included with the purchase of this diamond.

Education

Education is key when making a purchase that will last a lifetime. All of the items that we offer have many characteristics and we want to make sure that you are familiar with all of them. Below we have provided a glossary on the details of this item to aid you in your purchase decision. If for some reason we didn't cover everything, please visit our Education Library for additional information.

Diamond - This popular and sought-after gemstone is composed of carbon. Diamonds can be found in a variety of colors, from colorless to yellow, brown, and even black. Diamonds are the hardest natural substance on earth and rate a 10 on the Mohs Hardness Scale. Diamond is also known as April's birthstone.

Round - A gemstone or material cut or formed into a rounded shape.

White Gold - A white colored gold attained by alloying yellow gold, copper, nickel and zinc, then plating the resulting alloy with rhodium.

Carat Weight - The actual weight of a single gemstone. The weight of a one carat diamond equates to 200 mg or 0.2 grams. Carat weight is often expressed as a decimal or as points. A one carat diamond is the same as 1ct. or 100 points; a 1/2 carat diamond could also be called .5ct. or a 50 point diamond. To make things complicated, gemstones have different densities. Meaning, a one carat diamond and a one carat amethyst are not exactly the same size. See our Education section regarding the "4 C's" for detailed information regarding Carat Weight.

14k - Gold is a very soft metal and needs to be mixed with other metals in order to be strong enough for jewelry. 14k is 58.3% gold and 41.7% other metals.

GIA - The Gemological Institute of America is the world's premier authority on gemology. As an impartial, independent, nonprofit organization, GIA provides education, research, and laboratory services including diamond grading.

Color - An industry measurement of color or tinting within a diamond or gemstone. See our Education section regarding the "4 C's" for detailed information.

Clarity - An industry term describing the number and density of inclusions and blemishes within a diamond or gemstone. See our Education section regarding the 4 C's for detailed information.
